I have a Panasonic SA-DK10 unit (5 disc dvd mini-system) i have been told that there is a code that u can enter on the remote for the unit and will unlock the region locking ?? would anyone know the coding ?? would muchly be appreciated

Panasonic, Toshiba and Sharp usually do not have remote hacks. I believe you can have this model chipped, but I don't think it can be made region-free straight out of the box.

This site (regionfreedvd.net) has many remote hacks for DVD players, but unfortunately none are Panasonic.

Hmmm .. Strange .. i have been told that there is a sequence of buttons that u push .. may not be on the remote .. thing is my mate has forgotten the sequence ( how nice ) .. so yeah i was just tring to find it out myself cheers ne ways

If it has already been chipped, I believe you do use the remote to change the code. Can't help you on the sequence, though.
