i wanted to know what is the difference between mp3 player and usb flash drives?

flash drive is storage only, mp3 player can also function as a storage drive.

this may be wrong but i believe the difference is that a flash drive is primarily for data storage whereas an mp3 players primary function is to play mp3s and a secondary function is data storage

so if i were getting both of them for same price i should get mp3 player? as i can listen to music and also store data in it.

depends on the size and what youd like, ie. the drive is 200mb and the mp3 is 100mb, and ure using it for data storage then go for the drive, if you would prefer to listen to mp3s then go for the player

then mp3, theyll both be the same storage wise (i think) and as u said before, it has an mp3 playing function

My brother bought an mp3 player as it has data storage and voice recording. This made it tax deductible :D Can record meetings, y'know...
