Sounds as though you are on the right plan if you're spending approx $40 a
month and your on a $33 plan.

You might get to save a few pennies by moving to another company but is it
worth the porting/network uncertainty.

If you are at the end of your contract, call Optus sales on 1800 555 000 and
ask for the Yes Thanks bonus credits if you plan on staying with Optus for
another 12 months. You could get another $10 call credit each month.

Of course if you are having network issues and need to move to another
carrier. Try Southern Cross Mobile who use the Telstra network. They have
low user plans

You dont say how you use it, particularly if you use the Optarse free calls
much.

If you dont, the Optarse Usage Only Plan is pretty decent value.

The Optarse ISim is pretty decent value too if you dont care about prepaid.

What porting uncertainty? Ive done heaps of ports without any problem.
