Where can I find an AWA LCD TV?

About two months ago Big W (who retail the AWA brand) were selling I believe a LCD TV. From recollection it was 23 or 26 inches.

It was a one off shipment and it was selling for $1400. I am buggered if I can find out where to get one. Big W tell me to contact AWA and vice-versa.

If anyone has an idea let me know (or if they wish to sell theirs!!!)

yes, they totally sold out - there is a lot of discussion of thsi over in the dba.org.au forums. word has it (http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?showtopic=16831) Big-W are about to do a 32" inch version at $2000. skimmed from the thread in dba, it's 1366x768 similar if not exactly the same as http://www.decktron.com/products/lcd_32.html (the 26 model was also a model from the decktron) the decktron site does have some of the dimensions wrong - check the thread for more info)

very tempting - HD, bright, reportedly excellent picture and only $2k :)

if you really want the 26, one of the guys over in dba was selling theirs to get the larger model - you could see if they are still selling.

I just opened the Big W catalogue and there it was:- AWA 81cm(31inch) LCD TV 1366x768 res for $1999. I nearly fell of my chair :eek:

Mabey time to upgrade one of our cheepo tv's :dD

Sold out I tried 3 stores in Sydney all gone.

belmont (perth) sold out within 2 days (they were allocated 4 apparently) and they never even got one out on display! (I was really hoping to see one in person before commiting cash)
