wow. this is amazing.
a firewire digital TV box. for the P.C.
it may solve a lot of pci or usb2.0 compatability problems..

Interesting. They claim rudimentary Mac compatibility via "VirtualDVHS"
which appears to be a toy application wich comes with the Apple
developer tools. I wonder if the chipset it uses is compatible with
either Elgato's software or http://www.defyne.org/dvb/.
It's still $400 and the Elgato EyeTV 410 can be had for under $500 these
days so it's probably not worth the headache of a roll-your-own
solution.

Was this with the Panther dev tools, or a seperate download from
developer.apple.com? I have the dev tools installed and can't find the
application...

Looks like you have to download the firewire dev tools from
developer.apple.com.
