Hi All,

Wanting to buy a cheap 51cm (or there abouts) TV as an extra. I had a foxtel bloke out this week and he said he saw one advertised on tv this week for $100 but couldn't remember which company. Does anyone know where this was or have you spotted any other cheapy deals?

Thanks for your help.

Aldi was selling some very cheap 51cm Tevion TV's - last time I looked @ the Warringah store they still had some left. Might be worth checking your local store.

The good guys stores are ok, but I have found that prices can vary wildly from store to store. Also they have never yet been able to beat the best price I have been able to get elsewhere.

As you know just about everywhere has cheap TV's these days, make sure whatever you get has the connections you need.

With the cheap TV's you are getting what you pay for which is great value for old technology that performs well, the only downside is, from what I have heard you have about a 1 in 10 chance of it not working when you plug it in when you get home, because of the poor quality control. This being said I got a cheap Masuda (korean) TV about 15 years ago, and have not had many problems.
