The retail prices for these are $1499 and $1999. The distributor
reduced them a few hundred each for whatever reasons - market forces,
appreciation in the dollar. But I keep finding stores that trumpet
the new prices like they're specials! Selling something for RRP isn't
very special in my book.
One salesman tried to tell me that they're not allowed to discount NAD
any further because Australian prices are already the lowest in the
world...!
Does anyone know of stores that will sell these NAD receivers for
below RRP? I'd be happy with 15% off, otherwise I'll buy something
more competitively priced.
