Ok,

I have a deposit on a set of Richter PM-401's with the SW101 sub,

rrp is $2698 , i'm only paying $1070.

Question, i'm wondering are they all that good. At first impressions I
was impressed, but then listening to a set of DB dynaics Vega's, i'm
now a little unsure.

I can't bloody decide on a speaker package to go for.

I can get packages at cost price, so generally i'm saving about
$500-$1500 of rrp depending on the package.

I want something and I want something that sounds nice but is not going
to break the bank.

GRRR!!!

Re those Richter's - are you sure they're cost price? I once responded to an ad for some obsolete Richter stock being sold by one of their staff and subsequently found I could buy the same speakers cheaper from a retailer in Canberra.

That's a pretty good price for PM 401's with Krakatoa sub. Where did you
get that price? It's almost 50% less than normal asking price.

Cheers,

Saso

Working in the right places :)

Trust me, there is HUGE profit margins on speakers.
