M21 to 253... its gonna happen...

Hi all,
A while ago I asked about the m21 to the 253. Well, today the clutch
finally decided to break (the pressure plate), so while I have the
chance I though I may as well pop in an M21 untiol something better
comes along.

Are there any issues with this?

Because my block has the trimatic pattern, can I just swap the bell
housing from my existing box over to the m21?

To my knowledge, there arent any non-trimatic pattern 253 blocks... As far
as i know, the turbo pattern was simply a 308 option that's carried over to
the 304's..

I had a 79 HZ Pano a while back, chunky little 253 in it, standard trimatic
pattern, I had an M21 behind it.. Go to a wreckers, check a few id tags of
wrecks.. you'll see they're factory behind 253's and 308's.. the only issue
you're likely to encounter is if you try to throw a turbo pattern box behind
the trimatic pattern block.

but yeah... M21 behind a 253... Easy.
