6 months suspension? Probably will still retain job and receive assistance
in getting to & from work.

Any average joe would have lost their licence for a long time and received
large fines and the prospect of losing their job.

So how did the cop get caught if he was driving a police car? Cops don't
usually rat each other in.

Too true - great to see the ratter doing his/her job - congratulations!
A rare occurrence indeed.

Cheers

Well done. But I don't think we'll see a senior HWP taking a local
bus to the office. :-)

On the bright side, he can catch up on his paperwork.

BTW: Police were out in large numbers yesterday afternoon. Saw about
half a dozen vehicles pulled over to the side of the freeway in the
space of 5km; highest concentration of cops I've seen on the road
since I "dragged off" a Crummydore on its way to the brain-washing
centre. :-)

Traffic was *really* slow. Every time the cars ahead of me were
within a few car lengths of the flashing blue lights, they braked!
From less than 80 in a 100 km/h limit!

Painfully slow. Those pulled over would have mostly been for
non-speeding stuff; boats and loads not secured, etc. Only one
ricer; hopefully being booked for a foglight offence.
