First of all, I'd like to say this new look forum is great.

Suggestion:

How about creating a new section/forum/title??? that lists every registered user's name (as a thread) where other people who has traded with or bought from or sold to that person can write down how the exchange went and will also give that user a right of reply if a comment is negative. People can look here first before dealing with them. Eventually, we'll all know who has credibility here in regards to trading/selling/buying. Only the moderator can add new threads (ie. users).

If this is already being done, please accept my apologies for not looking around the site thoroughly enough and disregard this post.

Amendment:
I've thought about what I initially wrote and realised how big a task (and probably a waste of time) to include every user because not every user buys/sells/trades so, how about only including users who have posted in the FS/FT section and then just update the list for every first-time post in the FS/FT section??

It is a good idea to have a trader reference section. I would like people's opinions of which way to set it up. I had a brief email exchange with Watcher a while back in the old forum regarding this topic. There are few ways we can do this:

1) Alter or convert the current "Where to buy" section into a trader reference forum. It may contain where to buy messages too. I have always wondered where to buy region one nowadays. I used to buy from Videocave, DVD Express a couple of years ago when region 4 DVDs were scarce. I don't know where to start to look for now.:)

2) Create a sticky thread where people can post their trade experinces with other forum member. Only problem with this is if someone had a bad day and jumps in to blaster someone else without much factual details, then the message could be very harmful! One way we can do this to set up very strick guidelines, but the it will need create a lot of work for moderator. I have not exchanged opinion with Watcher before this post.

3) An area which only moderators can post to rate traders. Only problem with this is if someone receives a negative comment, then he might blame the moderator who lists it. Again, I have not exchanged opinion with Watcher before this post.

Good comments are most wolcome. Like bernard pointed out, if one receives all the good comments, then the next person will not need to hasitate to trade with him. Only thing need to be controlled is the negative comments. The details must be based on facts and the both sides should have the rights to tell their story.:)
