As I said, these figures don't take into account packaged vehicles. My
XR6 for instance is Novated Leased and was purchased by the fleet co
so will be under non-govt fleet. Its effectively a private choice
purchase though.
I dare say many of those govt. fleet cars are salary packaged chosen
by the employee too.

This is only the first 2 months of 2005, up till Feb.
Camry/Magna/Commodore:

Private - 3541/603/2377
Govt fleet - 830/291/2910

Interesting figures, especially the govt. Magna. The govt. helped
Magna a while back iirc, but still don't buy there products.

The Falcon isn't the passenger (i.e. non-commercial) vehicle with the lowest
percentage of private buyers though. That honor would probably go to the
Tarago, with only 13% of sales going to private buyers! Not surprising
considering its the biggest joke of a people mover , they all go to the
rental fleets.

LOL, i'm driving a rental Tarago at the moment, the novelty of the
high driving position wore off after about 3 minutes, i'll be glad to
give it back :)
