"Kendell L. Moss, 20, of Racine died early Sunday, allegedly after
trying to rob a 64-year-old man from Arkansas who had stopped at the
gas station to ask directions, records show. After being punched and
kicked, the man pulled a .44-caliber revolver from under the driver's
seat of his car and shot Moss in the head, according to police reports.
"I don't have no money, I'm sick and just got out of the hospital," one
of the juveniles quoted the elderly man as saying before he pulled out
the gun.
The juveniles - three 16-year-olds and one aged 13, all of whom were
unarmed - initially ran from the immediate area of the shooting but
quickly returned to see if Moss was alive.
One of them gently picked up Moss' hand and started crying."

It appears that in some places, there's significant risk attached to
the ancient art of robbery.
Which is - as it should be - a very fine thing indeed....

the right thing and make me smile:-)

Note that the 64 y.o. man also ended up in custody.
He probably won't get 20 years for possessing a .44 handgun (illegal
in Oz).
Nor will he be likely get another couple of years for an unsecured
firearm (as he would in Oz).
However he may be charged with manslaughter (2nd degree murder), as he
most certainly would be in Oz.
Silly old bastard should've punched and kicked 'em back (which is a
perfectly legal self defence measure in Oz). :)

And a .44 would've made a fucking mess of the kid's head. Well done.

Guns are adding to their social ills, not fixing them.

True enough.
But it ain't the worst social problem they have.
I would contend it's the GovCo they pay *not* to give a shit whether
they live or die, and if they didn't have the guns, it'd be worse:-)
Fortunately for GovCo, enough of the wood-ducks have got_God which
keeps them in line in the general sense.
Hehe, any Yankees listenin?
