I was driving past a speed camera car today and thought to myself:

What would they do if I put my hazard lights on and parked right in front of
their camera and sensors?

Would they make me move, would I be fined or would they simply move their
car?

about 30min to move it
we are waiting for a no parking xcepr emergency vehicles sign to go up :)

you have stopped with your indicators on. the cop might then treat that as
a call for help.
So he comes over and find you do not need help.
that means you have falsely called for help, and thats public nuisance.

And there's "interfering with the duties of a police officer" if he can be
sure that you meant to stop him working.

Now of course the magistrate might be nice to you if you say that wasnt your
intention but still.

What planet are you on? Provided he pulls over in a legal fashion , who is
the "public" and where is the "nuisance"?

Hazard lights are meant for hazards, he might be done for improper use if a
copper decided to be nasty.

Speed Cameras..... do some states still waste tax payer funds putting cops
on speed camera duty? Most speed camera operations are contracted out.
