I am in the market for a home theatre system for an average size room. I have seen a few of them at Myer Mega Mart stores. A Pioneer setup with a DVD player with a built in tuner, plays VCD,MP3 etc and a has a powered subwoofer with five speakers. Costs around $1,500/- was recommended. My question, is this the best way for an entry-level system or should I buy Samsung speaker set from SCR for $599/- & than buy a good quality DVD player eg Pioneer DVD-533K. Any experience with packaged system will be much appreciated
