On December 12, Roadshow Entertainment blasts SWORDFISH into stores on DVD, loaded with special features and featuring an all star cast including John Travolta, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, Vinnie Jones and Australia’s own Hugh Jackman.

Set in a world protected by firewalls, passwords and the most advanced computer security systems hides our deepest secrets, our most incriminating information and a whole lot of money. This is the world of SWORDFISH.

CIA operative, Gabriel Shear (Travolta) is sure he can steal this money, but it will take more than a dozen mercenaries, massive weaponry and a superhacker Stanley Jobson (Jackman) to obtain it.

From the Producer of The Matrix and the Director of Gone in 60 Seconds, comes an intense, high- tech thriller about power, money and a 21st century bank heist.

SWORDFISH on DVD features extensive special features including an audio commentary track by Director Dominic Sena who discusses in great detail the creation of the film.

The Making of Swordfish is a 14-minute featurette which takes you behind the scenes with cast and crew. The Effects in Focus is an 8-minute featurette that highlights the creation of the ‘flying bus’ sequence.

Choose from two alternate endings (with optional director’s commentary), and read the cast and crew profiles.

Exclusive to this disc is the hilarious John Travolta and Hugh Jackman interview on Network Ten’s Rove Live with host Rove McManus.

The PC friendly DVD Rom components feature additional cast interviews, a link to the swordfish website, production designs, storyboards, screensavers and Winamp skins, plus an interactive message board, photo gallery and special web events.

Also on the DVD Rom facility is the VFX downloadable ‘making of’ videos for the visual effects including the “bank explosion” and the “flying bus/helicopter sequence”. Plus you can download loops from the techno-music film soundtrack.

SWORDFISH rated MA15+ features Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, 16:9 widescreen format, theatrical trailer and English subtitles for the hearing impaired. The running time is 95 minutes and DVD suggested retail price is $39.95. SWORDFISH is also available to rent on Video.

Roadshow Entertainment will continue to deliver quality DVD titles in 2002 including ENEMY AT THE GATES, RUSH HOUR 2 and BLOW.
