I got the Evil Dead - Book of the Dead yesterday!

It is pretty spectacular. The Book itself looks superb, although it smells a bit because it's made of latex rubber. :)

The disk is very, very good. The 1.85:1 transfer is clean and the audio is nothing short of perfect. A great deal of Evil Dead's horror and suspense comes from it's unique sound.

The Documentaries are excellent, especially the Bruce Campbell created Fanalysis.

There are two Easter Eggs so far that I've found.

It cost me a pretty penny, $114.95 to be precise, but it was worth it!

I give it 5 chef's hats!

I did have it pre-order when first available but cancelled it after I found out that it doesn't have the short film Within The Wood for extras :mad:

I must say the book looks very cool but without WTW I say it's a bit expensive.

The one thing that stopped me buying it is the review from DVD File (http://www.dvdfile.com/software/review/dvd-video_4/evildead_bookofthedead.html) about the transfer.

imho, there will be another version coming out. :)
