Does anyone have an opinion about the Optoma h57 DLP projector?
I've heard that with a high speed colour wheel this uses the rainbow effect is undetectable. Which is better the optoma or the panasonic AE700?
I have an AE700, and can vouch for a great picture in a normal "lounge room" enviroment.
I haven't seen an Optoma though, so can't really make any comparisons.
AE700 owner here too. Very happy with it, especially like the joystick to tilt the lens around. That has made me using all the pixels without the need of the electronic adjustment. I think it should be the best projector in LCD type market. At 1000 ANSI Lumens, it may be a bit dim during the day without good light control. It is better than the AE500 which is 850 ANSI Lumens. For the money you are paying, you can't go wrong with this.
For DLP projectors, they are brighter but only the expensive models use high speed colour wheel. The average ones can cause headache.
