Before you start, I know that old dvd players won't play burnt dvds and all that. But I've been burning dvds at work on a mac with a pioneer burner for ages. All of them work on all my players at home (sony, toshiba, ps2).
Now I've bought a dell with a philips burner. Same DVDs i've used before, using NERO to burn and they will only play on my ps2. Why? I've gone through the whole process correctly burning it (finalising the session and all that).
The only thing i can think of is the burner is not strong enough???? Or something like that so the sony and toshiba cannot read them.
Any ideas as I'm thinking about buying a 2nd burner for my PC but don't want to spalsh the cash if not necessary.
Cheers,
Dave.
