this so cheap because the phone is no good?

The phone is just a really old model. I would say your better off buying a 3315 for about the same price.

Overall a good phone, crap battery life by todays standards, 2 line screen, not really worth it.

About 3 years back I had a couple of second hand ones I bought from ebay. Served me well but I moved on.
