Just got a Samsung Sghe310.

When you hit the blue "i" button it immediatly activates the WAP browser and you get charged .25c.

I just had WAP taken off by Telstra till I'm used to this thing... and my kids too (adult kids) who dont know this button is potentially financially dangerous.

Anyone got a work around or had some experience with this phone or this kind of thing?

Even a second keypress by Samsung would have been a good idea... like "Are you sure you want to access the WAP browser".

I have spoken to Telstra and they confirm, the .25c call charge is debited to your account the second you hit the button.

disable wap :)
or if you really want to use it, do something along the lines of changing
the wap profile to an invalid one... changing it back when u actually want
to use it
