93,000 writes "CNN is running an article featuring Gates' prediction that
[0]the iPod is on the way out. From the article: 'As good as Apple may
be, I don't believe the success of the iPod is sustainable in the long
run.' His prediction for a successor? Mobile phones-- powered by none
other than Windows Mobile 5.0, of course."

No ground breaking news there. No technological product is sustainable long
term if it doesn't keep up with changing needs. It has to evolve to survive.

He makes no mention of the successor being Windows Mobile. He only mentions
mobile phones, then says that Windows Mobile is one possible platform.

After using a shitty Blackberry for the last couple of weeks I would have to
agree.
The fact that Blackberry requires additional server software to make it work,
whereas Windows Mobile will work with any Exchange 2003 server out of the box
is a big plus IMHO.
