Have asked this to Revtel, will advise of their feedback.
I've been previously advised that revtel does not support GPRS, so that
excludes me from having WAP access. In order to receive an MMS on my picture
phone doesn't GPRS need to be enabled?
Currently if someone sends me a MMS, I receive a TXT saying to go to a
vodafone URL to view MMS images. My service needs to be configured to have
MMS delivered to my handset, however given that GPRS isn't available I guess
there is no ability to receive MMS anyway.
I didn't expect GPRS and WAP to be one of those "frills" that Revtel exclude
to offer?
Previous response RE GPRS:
Hi,
Thank you for your email.
We do not currently offer GPRS settings as we are upgrading our services.
Please check our website shortly.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us again.

Try setting it up from the Vodafone website. Because Revtel use the Vodafone network it should work.

RevTel does support GPRS. The best bet is to try again or do it through Vodafone.

Thanks DrKatz was considering trying that. Have tried and been unsucessful:
When I go to http://wireless.vodafone.com.au/m2mwap/
(trying to get the Vodafone GPRS settings sent to my handset)
I enter my revtel number and submit - it does not send me the GPRS settings
(says it will send thru to handset shortly)
I assume the Voda Mobile Phone Configurator on the web checks your service
number is with Vodafone, and as mine is with revtel then doesn't send..
Anyone got the settings that I can put in manually?

This is what I've been told from Revtel:
Thank you for your email.
We are currently going through negotiations to upgrade our MMS/GPRS gateway
as the application to send these settings is done by a third party.
Unfortunately this means that although you can use the service we cannot
configure your handset for you. We are sorry we can not provide better
support regarding this however you can still retrieve your MMS from
https://www.myvodafone.com.au.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us again.
