Oh, another ethnic sounding one. And dancing. Good.

But he's a wally, decent voice (what is this? everyone can sing). Lose
weight, mate.

Lord of the Rings! Very celtic and ethnic. Dancing boys with feathers! this
is living. She has a voice but keeps losing the tune. Bit pedestrian, I
think as usual, they won't go through.

eh. lady in a; white rhinestone suit and a guitar (also white). fireworks!
Pretensions to heavy /glam rock. Where's the tune? can you whistle it? A
bit disjoint. I don't think it'll go through. It shouldn't. Slick but
clumpy.

ethnic! bagpipes! pan pipes! The lot.
Ladies in filmy white dresses and an impassioned gentleman. so very euro.
What is wiht the kettledrum fetish this year? everyone's got them. Looks
like Adam Spencer banging them too. BORING! Won't go through.

ant

BORED! Get them off. Bland soppy yank stuff. Sounds liek "summer breeze" by
Stylus.

Very poppy. A bit out of tune! Flat! and is she really missing a tooth? ye
gods. Good voices but there's a real issue with hearing the back track and
being in the same key at this eurovision.
And some irish dancing, good.
I don't think it'll go through but it might scrape through.

Ditch the guy. Go with the girl. She can carry the song all by
herself. His voice is like a buzz in the background mike.

Another Bombastic Bloke. Ethnic tune. These euros can belt out a song. Pity
about the songs!

ant

wow. this guy can sing and has personality! He really owns his voice. He's
great! Real showman. Song's kind of ordinary but he really picks it up.
Maybe he'll win.

yeah, fast accordian music and lots of "li li li li li"s. what eurovision
should be all about. The dresses look kind of flamenco-ish though. Boring
crap however and it won't go through. A Pole pretending to be Spanish with
accordians is a tad too sad even for this event.

When did Poland become part of Spain?
Nice nips

I don't get it. where is UK, germany, greece, italy, turkey etc etc etc?

I never understand eurovision.
God the presenters are awful.

If Latvia go through I'm going to protest.

They are automatically included. Which is good, because that means on
Sunday, there will be more atrocious acts to wonder at :-)

As long as Norway get a run, I'll be laughing

yeah! and Denmark. Most of the ealry ones were good, then they tapered off
into foulness. Meanwhile they are doing the voting while Wogan growls away
amusingly. I wish we could vote.

Shoot those spaz hosts! Argh!

There's no way they can get through. Having a lady in a small petticoat
playing a small accordian... yuck.

I'm a pureist. I'll only watch the final with Terry. But last year's
hosts were the best I've ever seen. NOTHING could beat them trying to
buy time at the end of the event waiting for Ruslana to collect her
trophy. Hilarious. And if you've heard Terry's comments for it....
even better.

EUROVISION IS WHAT MAKES THE YEAR WORTH LIVING!

You've been missing Wogan all night then. he's been in fine snide form. I'm
waiting for his comments on this stupid time-filler ballet while the votes
are counted.

But last year's

where do they find the same vacuous hopeless hosts every year, I wonder?

sigh, years of wogan, missed. Never mind, here he is, happy and tonight not
too disgusted. Maybe sunday he'll lose it.

> EUROVISION IS WHAT MAKES THE YEAR WORTH LIVING!

yeah. ah, the ballet is a "dance of a thousand veils".

There's a crib, form some pundits, he's reading out.

going through, say pundits:
iceland
hungary
switz
rumania
norway
nethlands
israel
croatia
belarus
slovenia

I wonder if they'll be right?

I hate to tell you, but so have you. It's not Wogan. He's being saved
for Sunday.
