Hello,

I have been unable to find any information on this player which I recently bought. So far I have been very happy with it and the picture and sound quality is in my opinion quite good. I have not thrown many divx files at it but of the ones that I have it can not be faulted.

My main gripe is that this player appears to be region locked. Does anyone know if it can be made to play Region 1 discs?

I cannot run any of my region1 dvds on this player..

Hello,

I did eventually stumble across a hack that worked. I found it on a website but forgot to save the website url. I am pretty certain that it was http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=Samsung+DVD-P450 as the codes seem to be familiar. The hack works a treat and has proven to be stable since it was implemented. I am still very happy with this player.
