I heard Revtel (Revolution Telecom) may be releasing a Mini Cap for lower level users priced at $29 for $100 worth of calls, text etc.
Anyone else heard about this? There is nothing on their website about it.
Apparently they wouldnt charge calls at the same low rate they currently do, it would be more like 60c per min, but it still sounded good for someone like me who probably spends about $30 a month anyway.
I have been with Revtel for a while and cant fault them, just wanted to get others opinions on whether this is a good deal or is Vodas $49 cap better value...

So you can pay what is effectively 18c per minute as per current Revtel
offering
or have call rates 3 times more but get under a cap that provides 3 times as
much credit for your investment.
I don't see the point really, other than appealing to those who think that
having a Cap must = getting a better deal

I agree its basically the same deal except that calls are 3times more expensive but you get 3 times the calls.
It would probably only be worth it if you make exactly $100 worth of calls.
Obviously there shouldnt be a day charge then.
