A poor excuse for optus to keep prepaid market share, its mini caps,
recharge with $30 and recieve $120 of credit to use within 30 days with a
flat call rate of 37c per 30 seconds etc..

The only positive thing is internet gprs is charged at 20c per 40kb and is
included on there prepaid platform, still dosnt compete to the voda $49 for
500mb

0.5c per kilobyte included in the cap is much better than voda's $49
cap, which charges 2c per kilobyte! Plus 37c per 30 secs is much
better than i'm currently paying with virgin (40c per 30 secs on their
$30 plan with no gprs and no free text).

I'm sold! As soon as i can afford to, i'm going to pay out my phone
repayments, leave virgin and get on this! Let's hope the promotion is
extended past August.

What do you have to do/be to be an eligible turbocharge customer?
Also, can anyone tell me please, is the internet gprs automatic once
you go on the cap, or do you have to call up customer service & get
them to add it to your account? Anyone have a link for the settings
for internet gprs?
