Quite simple really, just solve the below puzzle and post what you believe to be the answer. 1st person to post correctly wins [nothing].
Early Retirement?
Eddie stood in the shadows for a long time, patiently waiting. He could now step up and claim what he always considered as his. Nervously, he takes the chalk out of his pocket, moves into the light and looks strategically at the table. He has done this a million times before, he appears cool and calm, but still, there is a lot at stake. He focuses on what he has to do. In total silence, you can only hear his heart beating. Eddie moves closer, leans forward and pushes the Green in the first pocket, then the Brown, then the Blue. He has little room for the Pink, but he just manages to squeeze that one in as well. It seems even his breathing has stopped now, and a drop of sweat runs down his forehead. The last one left will complete the set. With a quarter of a million dollars, he is already thinking of early retirement, and a country cottage on the hills.
Question is...
What colour was the last one left? (Answer : one word)

Well, the obvious answer is black, since it's snooker. But it just seems waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too obvious. Surely there's a trick somewhere...

Actually, if he's playing snooker and he intends to win, then black would not be the last one left on the table. So I'm changing my answer (whizzfizz beat me to the obvious anyway).
The last one left would be:
WHITE

any way.. while we are waiting for the answer for that one.. try this one (pretty simple)
You have two sides, one out and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men who stay all out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!
what game am i talking about ?? :) :)

3 kids go into a shop, they see a radio for 45 cents they each put in 15 cents,
and buy the radio from the sales assistant, at that the boss comes out and tells the sales assistant that it was only 40 cents go and give the kids the 5 cents change. He goes out and and finds the kids, he realizes`s he can`t split the 5 cents 3 ways so he pockets 2 cents and gives each kid 1 cent each....
so that means each kid paid 14 cents so 3 x 14 =42 cents the shop assistant kept 2 cents 42 + 2 = 44 cents so where did the other cent go ?

there`s no answer though it`s to prove maths can lie :)

every one pay 15 cents get a cent back then they payed 42 cents, 2 cents extra which the shop assistant kept
42 - 2 = 40 , the actual price
42+ 3(the returned 3 cents )= 45 the original price
sorry if i comfused the hell out of you

The correct answer was BLACK. Whizzfizz being the first to get it won.
It wasn't WHITE because the paragraph was talking about the ball that was to be hit in last and the white ball never goes in.

Scatterbrain the Treasurer was an idiot - He had forgotten how many gold, silver and bronze coins were kept in the town vaults. So he decided to ask the three guards, each of whom guarded one type of coin, how many coins were in his charge. However, the guards were unco-operative, and the best that Scatterbrain could get from each was a statement about the numbers of coins in the other two vaults.
Dimwit, who was guarding the gold, said there were 3000 silver and 5000 bronze coins; Thick plank, who was in charge of the silver, said there were 3000 gold and 5000 bronze; while Beef brain, who was protecting the bronze, said there were 4000 gold and 3000 silver. Unfortunately, only one guard was being truthful, each of the other two stating at least one false amount.
If there were 12000 coins altogether - How many of each type of coin was there?

Alrightio-then. Here is another Puzzle: Once again the 1st to answer wins [nothing].
20,000 of each!!!
So I win then? I am the first to answer after all :D
(I guess I should try - Thick Plank was honest, there's 3k gold, 4k silver and 5k bronze. Which is a shame for the town really, because that's the lowest net value that was possible out of the options).

I will make an effort to post a more difficult puzzle next time.
Two boxers are in a boxing match (regular boxing, not kick boxing). The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds but ends after only 6 rounds - after one boxer knocks out the other boxer. Yet no man throws a punch. How is this possible?
