Steven Allron Eatts, 25, jumped from the dock and fled Sydney's
Central Local Court yesterday.

He then allegedly hijacked a car from a nearby corner in the city
centre. (where the owner dumped it hoping it would get stolen so he

The car struck an officer who gave chase on foot after the carjacking,

It had been towed (because it refused to start) for forensic
investigation, police said today.

Eatts, who was facing break and enter and assault charges, is still at
large. (on foot cause the car he stole was a pos)

He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 157cm tall and of
slim build.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact triple-0
or Crime Stoppers.

Criminal knew he could easily overpower the driver since he was only
157cm tall!
