Apocalypse Now Redux was apparently released in US today. Does anybody know of a release date in Oz? Can anybody recommend a dealer in US?

Don't know about release date for DVD in R4, it's still out in cinema :) . You can try Amazon.com or absound.ca.

Personal notes: I did put it on pre-order at Amazon but cancelled it when I learnt that Paramount put it at 2.1:1 (16x9 enhanced) and the doco. "Heart of Darkness" not on the extras :mad:

News around the Net say that there might be a SE for this film next year (not confirmed).

Don't know when it is being released in Oz. You could try www.dvdboxoffice.com, if you want to get it OS. They are in Canada, so the currency conversion rate is better. They also do free shipping. There is also DVD Magic in Melbourne. Their URL is www.vichost.com/dvdmagic.
