Robocop - Now This Annoys Me

I spent over $60 on the criterion release of Robocop as it was out of print and I wanted the directors cut.

Now the directors cut is coming out in AUS with superior sound and Anamorphic for only $35. Isnt that the way. You fially get a multi zone player and all the good releases come out in r4.

and the great escape coming out as anamorphic.. if only i wasnt in a hurry to get it at Xmas..

I got the R2s and the criterion, and can say R2 has it all over the criterion, so the R4 should be the same as the R2 i think.

Don't you have the added value off it being an out of print criterion though, rather than a normal region 4?
I know which I'd prefer. :)
