Channel 7 showed the press conference and it was an absolute joke. In her
first statement to the media, Ms Hapsari repeated lines being LOUDLY
whispered to her by flamboyant/gay/wanker lawyer Hotman Paris. I don't think
she even knew who Corby was.
Soap star joins Corby campaign
June 13, 2005
From: AAP
SCHAPELLE Corby's legal team has reportedly recruited one of Indonesia's
best-known soapie starlets in an effort to get Indonesians to support her.
A newspaper report today said the latest recruit to the Corby defence team,
Anisa Tri Hapsari, was unveiled at a media conference.
Ms Corby's Jakarta lawyer Hotman Hutapea said he had employed her because
the view of the Indonesian public would be critical in determining the
outcome of Ms Corby's appeal against her 20-year sentence for drug
smuggling. He told The Sydney Morning Herald the public's view could affect
the decision of the court.
Mr Hutapea said Ms Hapsari's job would be to work as an information officer
who could convince ordinary Indonesians of the huge doubts about Corby's
guilt.

What are they playing at? Do they think since the whole media thing
worked in Australia, it's going to work in Indonesia?
Again, it's irrelevant what the PUBLIC thinks. It matters what the
JUDGES think.
Let's hope they give her life.

In Asia, soap stars are more influential than any judge.

are we still on about this stupid bitch corby , get the fuck over it , nobody cares let her rot in jail where she belongs , getting some 2bit soapy actor goes to show how desperate corby has become.
& as for her new sooperdooper lawyer askin the australian government to supply the name of the person who owned the drugs & put them in her boogie bag is funny as , if that info was around dont you think somebody somewhere would have said something long before now ,
lets just move on & accept shes been found guilty , if you agree or dont agree this is the way it is , so lets stop wasting our time by having to make us listen to is week after week .
