hey guys

i have a PS2 and have just bought the Grand Theft Auto collector's edition for a bit of retro fun since i never owned a PS1. the game doesn't save on the PS2 memory card so i'm assuming i need a PS1 memory card to save it.

my question is, how big does the memory card need to be in order to be able to make all my saves on one card for GTA, GTA2, and GTA London?

i'm looking at buying one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1489&item=8198495671&rd=1

but i don't know if 1MB is big enough.

all help appreciated as usual!

cheers
lee

Mate goto your local EB or Cash converters, ull be able to pickup memory cards second hand for a couple of dollars or new ones for $9.95. Personally id probably grab 2-3 Second hand ones and wipe them, then use them youd be able to get them for $10 max

Note: The memory card 1mb has 15 blocks(if i remember correctly) the amount of blocks needed for each save can be seen on the back of the game ;)

thanks, after searching through the entire book i found the required amount of memory blocks right inside the front cover of the manuals... and yes i think you're right, i think the card said 15 blocks. the games all say 1 memory block so it looks like a 1mb card might be ok. i don't know, it's all foreign to me!

how do you wipe a memory card??

Put the memory card in the machine and turn it on without any CD's in the drive.

There is a memory card option that will come up showing all current save games, u delete them from there. Its fairly straight forward once you see it
