I'm being a cheap bastard ... where can i pick up a xbox controller reasonably cheap ...
I guess somewhere like Kmart, Big-W?

Generic Controllers can be purchased at many retailers, if u want to be even more cheap maybe look at Cash Converters, EB, Ebay who have second hand gear.

They range from around $40 to a max of $50.
Your guess is correct where you can get them cheap..also JB Hifi etc etc. Seriously shopping around will save you like $2 if you buy it brand new. Big deal.

Electronics Boutique will have cheap controllers (non Microsoft ones). They have their huge sale on. I think they have PowerWave and 4Gamers brands (corded and wireless).
Alternatively, Dick Smith Powerhouse have the Logitech Wireless for $44.97.
