Sorry HoundsOfLove and Shy. Taking a break from moviestars for a moment. Have a go at this anyway. Think of it as a challenge.
I am an unpretentious writer who has never actually existed. Nevertheless, I have become a legend in Australian literary history. Some people still laugh about my arrival among a bunch of penguins over 60 years ago, because of the reception they gave me.

It is necessary to understand
That a poet may not exist, that his writings
Are the incomplete circle and straight drop
Of a question mark
And yet I know I shall be raised up
On the vertical banners of praise.
Could only have been penned by the Angry Penguins (http://jacketmagazine.com/17/fact2.html), James McAuley and Harold Stewart, the creators of you, Ern Malley (http://www.ernmalley.com/). ;)

You got it right, Femme Fatale. Although Ern Malley was an invention of two poets he was one of the first to make his way onto White Hat's (http://www.whitehat.com.au/Australia/People/Malley.asp) list of 200 significant and influential Australians. Max Harris was never allowed to forget how comprehensively he fell for the hoax.
Seeing that people are more interested in guessing the identity of contemporary Hollywood movie stars, may I suggest that you will be Mel Gibson next? That should be really popular. :D

Not Mel Gibson. Somehow I think people may guess that too easily.
The son of teachers, I quit school at 17 to study drama in New York. I was often cast as a yuppie, finally breaking out of that mold with a movie that won me the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival that year. I have forged a career on exploring the darker side of human nature, having a taste for playing extreme characters both in movies and television series.

I am an actress.
I am the daughter of a notorious and prolific German actor.
I am reportedly fluent in five languages.
I am a supporter of the International Red Cross.
Although I continue to work it is for my early, offbeat and art-house roles that I am perhaps most remembered, one history of the films of the 1980s referring to me as “every director’s fantasy woman”.
I started in European films, bewitching first the exiled Roman Polanski and then American Paul Schrader. For my film with him, Paul Schrader was so obsessed with my particular sensuality that he later admitted he lost track of how perverse his work was becoming because of it.

Sorry just been bought to my attention that it is my go, forgot all about it:o
Ok
I grew up in poverty as the son of a dirt farmer. I ended up getting roles in films that gave me leading man status which was unusual for the time. My roles always needed that dignity and charm that carried over in my real life.
My daughter has the same first name as me only spelt differently. I am very well respected and after starring in films went behind the camera and did some producing and directing. I am quite tall 6'2 and very handsome.
