xms 888 codec what can it play ?

Hi there,
Can anybody tell me what codec can the xms 888 play ? I am trying to play a xvid but the picture is really messy ie. the pixels are all over the place.

Or I have another avi but it plays it for like 2 mins then goes to the next avi .
