pay the same as a car when a car is bigger.

Couldn't the police just station an officer there and ping anyone who does
that?

How dare you suggest that they take officers off catching people for
speeding, after all, that is the only bad thing that seems financially
viable to police on Australian roads.

Well, my school of thinking was, the government likes the easiest way to
earn money out of the cops, hence the gross over enforcement of speed. Whack
some heavy fine legislation in [if there is not already], then police the
shit out of the tolls. Whammy!
