LG LX-D2640 Divx mini hi-fi system

I have just purchased a LX-D2640 and have a couple of questions that I would like to ask everyone. I notice that firmware updates have been released for LG Divx players...does anyone know whether LG releases firmware updates for this machine??? Secondly, has anyone had any experiences with this machine, as in what brands of DVD's etc are better to try and success rates with different types of encoding. I realise that this a broad question, and I apologise if I have wasted anyone's time. Cheers :)

OK...so no one has got one. Well I tell you that I have been pretty impressed so far. I have a ROWA divx MPG4 DVD and it plays all the Divx/Xvid files I could play on this machine with no problems. I guess the same comments that apply to the stand alone LG players apply to this one. For those of you who don't know, the D2640 is a mini hi-fi system, with radio, tape/cassette and all the usual stuff you would find on a mini hi-fi, except it also plays DVD's and DIVX. Cost me $320 at Good Guys, plus a little bit extra for a further 2 years to the warranty. We needed a new hi-fi and my wife said that she needed a cassette deck on it (she is a child of the 80's), so this seemed to be the best compromise. Anyway, will post more after a bit more use :)
