Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy a 76cm widescreen CRT and i've pretty much narrowed the selection down to these two in my price range, the LG Lafinion82w or Panasonic TX-32F250A. They're both about the same price so I was hoping to get some advice on which is the better of the two.
Also feel free to suggest any other televisions you feel may be a better option for around the same price as these 2 go for.

Thanks.

I can't comment on the Panasonic, but we've been very happy with our LG
Lafinion in a smaller size. Great picture, and good sound (for a tv) - it
even has a sub! Pretty good looking for a CRT as well.

Hmmm... not a lot of use, was I? ;^)

Saw them both side by side at JB the other day and the Panasonic had a
noticeably better picture. They're supposed to be more reliable than
the LGs too.

Check out Sony's Superfine Pitch CRTs as well - they'd be my pick.

Another TV that ive seen for the same price is the Philips 76cm 32PW8521. From what i saw it seemed to have a better picture than the LG but perhaps not as many features. Does anyone have any comments about this one?
