Just bought theDVICO FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus today hooked it up
installed latest drives 3.0 ones. But it dont detect any channels ??

I pluged the anteena in and all. Worked fine with the SD box i have,
Do i need to plug it into the SD box i have to get SD or HD or am i
missing somthing. I do a scan and it says none found and siginal
strength 0.

Could it be a driver thing. I know their are hotfixes. At the momment
i have Windows Xp pro.

I have a Amd barton 2500 and a 6600gt Videocard. At the install it
gives you options Pentium 4 Ati or Nvidia card and such what would i
choose. Not sure f that would matter much not getting any channels but
might help.

Any ideas please let me know as iam stumped everything went Ok untill
i wanted to use it as its supposed to be used.

Thanks.

I bought one 2 weeks ago and installed it and it works very well, I am in
Melb. I have a Dell 4600 with Nvidia GEForce and Audigy 2. I emailed them
a fix for their Audigy 2 problem today.
Straight out of the box it scanned all channels, I have a good aerial and
all 75 coax all well fitted. You connect the Fusion straight to the aeriel,
make sure you plug it into the IN socket, not the pass thru OUT.

And this fix is?

My fix for the problem was to change the Audigy 2 for my old Soundblaster Live.

Hi Grumpy,

Here is the test of my message to DViCo, I have a word do with pics, if you
want I can mail it to you.

I recently purchased a DViCO Fusion DVB-T Plus HDTV card. I have a Dell
4600 with Audigy 2 sound system. When I went to use the card to play
composite video I had problems hearing sound, so I visited your website and
found the article on connecting the analog sound connector to the sound
card. That worked fine. I then attempted to record this video stream and
again had no sound in the recorded file. So I further researched this on
your website and found the article relating to the Audigy 2 problem. I took
the advice on the site and progressively removed Audigy components including
the Surround Mixer as suggested. Alas this was not resolving the problem..
I believe I now have a solution to the problem. I will detail my
investigation here. I was searching for clues and used the Windows volume
control to adjust settings.

I then used Options-Properties to find recording control:

I clicked in all devices and on OK:

I got the recording control panel. I noticed the Midi Synth was
automatically selected, so I selected the Analog mix channel in:

<picture>

With this my sound/video from the Composite video source recording worked!

So I decided to investigate the Audigy 2 software to see if it would do the
same, I re-installed it and found that performing the same step with Audigy
2 Surround mixed also worked. The Surround Mixer interface is misleading so
I guess that's why nobody has seen or reported this before. On the Surround
Mixer, the startup default for record is always Midi Synth:

Clicking the Rec dropdown list you get the rec select menu:

Selecting Analog Mix the Rec device changes to Analog Mix(Line/ :

When this is done, recording from the Composite video input works.

Cheers

Ta, have seen this method before.

Bummer, this method is already known by Dvico.
