FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus can it be used as a HD Set top Box for my TV ??

The TV is a Fully HD TV. At the moment it shows nothing, Video wise.
Shows the desktop and any movies i care to play via Mediaplayer.

The Tv is connected to my PC via Componet. And i can play 720p and
1080i movies and stuff no problems.

I read somewhere on tthe forums that outputing from the card was not
possible to a TV say it aint so. If thats not possible how can it
ouput to the monitor ??

When i shows the output their is nothing in the player just nothing.
No idea if their is any sound as that is not hooked up. The card is
hooke dup just like my SD Set top box Antenna in the BOX pass though
cable to the TV.

And if it aint possible what card does it as ill take this one back
and get a decent one.

Thanks for any help.

IF it is not possible to output HD to my HD tv how come a HD set Top
box can do it.

You don't connect an HD set top box to a TV with an antenna cable - you use
component or DVI cables, or S-video at the very least.

Your digital tuner card would need one of those outputs if you wanted to watch
HD on your TV. The antenna connection you are using sounds like it's just a
pass-through like VCRs have.

BEN I KNOW WHAT IAM DOING.

Works now it was a software problem. I now have SD and HD card working
and showing full motion video on my TV just like a Standalone Setop
box :)

Yeah i think it would be an overlay issue. I have read that you cant display
digital tv on a 2nd monitor with any digital tv card(or at least the dvico
which is what i had). I ended up selling mine for that very reason. I wanted
to display DTV on a 2nd montior whilst suing my primary larger monitor for
work, but no go. Just got the player with a black image in it.

But looks like you have gotten around it. Guessing that the limitation is a
2nd monitor off a dual display, and not with a video out connection.
