Have the opportunity to purchase some HX series Yamaha speakers at almost 50% off which makes them close to $3k for front hx6, centre hx5, rears hx2. Had a listen and sound was pretty good although maybe a bit bright and forward (descriptions sales person used) compared to paradigm and polks along side, have also listen to VAF DC serieswhich were quite impressive particularly the stereo imagining
Was curious if anyone else has compared or purchased the yamaha's and what their thoughts were.
