I have two.
Happauge and Nebula.
I would recommend the Nebula.

FWIW - I have had my FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus
(http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/eng/Products/DVBTPlus.aspx) up and
running for a week now and it hasn't missed a beat. Paid $175.00 at
last Sunday's UNSW PC fair (http://www.computerfairs.com.au) and it's
a great bit of kit (the remote, too, is superb).
Audio is via soundcard, however.

The HD cards are just tuners. You need a video card for the PC that has
component out.

that's a good price - I haven't seen it under $200 at retailers before. I may need to get myself down to a PC fair. Can you recommend any fairs north of the bridge?

It depends; most recent nVidia cards have a built-in MPEG2 HDTV decoder
chip, but it only works if you use Windows Media Center Edition (MCE).
In that case you can use any old dvb card, as long as you pay USD$20 for the
plug-in (free for trial) If you use win32 pro or win64, you'll find that
chip goes to waste, for example the card I use (VideoMate DVB-T300) with 2
built-in tuners; plays and records ordinary TV & SDTV, but can't keep up
with the processing demands of HDTV, even though my 6800 GT nVidia card has
a specialised HDTV processor chip onboard.
Based on the advice of friends and family, I'd recommend an external PC
solution, like an HDTV tuner box that supports 7.1 surround sound, although
that probably wouldn't support a decent remote control, nor a programmable
EPG.
