<center><b>AUDIO/VISUAL</b></center>
Yes Minister has a Dolby Digital 2.0 audio track.
The audio quality is good for what it is with speech being easy to understand and there were no signs of problems with audio sync either.
The audio comes from the front of the room, and the rears and sub are not used.
This comes as no surprise when taking into account the age and origins of the main feature.

Each episode is presented in 1:33.1 full frame.
Picture quality is acceptable, but does have the look of a TV show of its age.
There are some instances of minor scratches, nicks and marks and grain does rear is ugly head at times (particularly in the outdoor scenes).
Colours are often dull and but not too drab, as are flesh tones.

<center><B>OVERALL</b></center>
Well, there's no doubt that this DVD is a must have for fans of the series.
This is where it all started and this DVD contains the first seven episodes (series 1) that fans will be able to enjoy many times over.
The audio/visual side of things are acceptable considering the vintage and source of the series, but the extra features are lacking.
This is still one that fans should get hold of as it still holds up well after all this time.
Yes Minister has a RRP of $29.95 and is out now.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" ALIGN="center" BORDER="1">
