I am attempting to get the best possible picture on my new NEC PX-42VR5W SD
plasma but am having difficulties and would appreciate any advice. At the
recommendation of some of the AV experts in forums such as this, I have
obtained a "Scart-RGB Video With Audio Interconnect cable (as seen here
<http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=WQ7255&CATID=&keywords=wq7255&SPECIAL=&form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=>
The plan was to use it between my Foxtel Digital Satellite and 42" NEC
Plasma. I've forced the Foxtel STB to update the firmware and set the output
to YUV. Likewise, I've connected the 3 RGB cables to the corresponding plugs
on the plasma, and the left and right audio to a free audio input. But I
can't get any picture.
I gather there's a setting somewhere on the plasma menu that I haven't found
to set it up and receive the input. Any ideas?

They're not but as I understand it, the Foxtel box outputs YUV on the RGB
outputs.

I thought you could choose the output in the menus? Assume you have a modern
Foxtel box & not a f**king recycled one that they've dumped on you.
