Hi all,

Hoping that someone can help me out.

Probably a very silly question, but bear with me

I have Foxtel Digital (Satellite) and a TEAC ITV-D500 STB.

My understanding of how to connect the units are.

External antenna plugs into the back of the TEAC box, TEAC box then connects
to VCR via the SCART to composite cable.

RF OUT from TEAC Box to VCR

RF OUT from VCR to TV.

Foxtel Box connected to VCR by SCART to composite cable.

The problem I seem to have is that I can only watch Foxtel through the VCR
and not through the television, alternatively if I connect the RF OUT from
the Foxtel Box to the VCR, then I can't watch free to air tv through the
television, only through the TEAC box through the VCR.

Am I connecting it properly or is there a better way to do it.

Hope this makes some sort of sense...............apologies for the rambling
if it doesn't

Thanks for any help

Regards
AJ

Before anyone tries to answer, supply some extra info please. Does your TV
have multiple A/V inputs (Composite, S-Video or Component)? Do you listen to
the sound through a home theatre amplifier, or even through your normal
stereo?

What make / model TV and VCR do you have? Are they relatively new - with
stereo sound or A/V stereo inputs and outputs?

When people have this info, they will be able to taylor the answers. Without
it, people will guess and explain how they set up their own systems, which
may be of no use to you whatsoever.
