The S350 costs $177k. If he paid $223k he got ripped off badly.

There's only one spec and it comes fully loaded. Why you'd want to add
anything extra to it is beyond me.

With a car that expensive you'd expect at least $10k knocked off the price
right away - so you'd start out at about $165k. On road costs amount to
about $12k in addition to that.

Options available for S350;
Active (radar) Cruise control - around $3k
Sunroof - $2500
Xenon lights - $2500 (active $3500)
Premium leather - $7-12k
Bose Hifi - $4k
Decent wheels - $3-4k
Rear screen/DVD player (he did have a driver) - $8k
Self closing doors - $5k

stamp duty @ $200k - $9k...........

Doesn't take long.
