I'm having some trouble with my PS2 (the old chunky one) - Control port 1 doesn't work.
First, the control cord is very loose when i plug it in, slides in and out too easy, doesn't sort of 'click' in. Second, the PS2 just doesn't respond to a controller in port 1 - I've gotta use port 2 instead.
Not only that, but for some reason I can't get a memory card into slot 2........so I'm using a memory card in slot 1 and a controller in slot 2.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Is it worthwhile trying to pull it apart myself, or is it too easy to stuff things up on the PS2?
