Just a notice to all that there is a new firmware for both the Hitachi and Sanyo loader firmwares.
Minor bug fix for both.

S(Sanyo)1.2b - Fix so text based subtitles no longer turn pale blue if going in and out of the Setup menu while playing back an avi file with text based subtitles.

H(Hitachi)1.2b - Version number jump to bring version numbering into line with Sanyo loader version with same features.
- Fix so text based subtitles no longer turn pale blue if going in and out of the Setup menu while playing back an avi file with text based subtitles.

See http://www.zensonic.com/support_z330.php

please note that there are no other changes at this stage.

I just upgraded firmware and the tray never went back in for some reason. It's just still sitting there 10 minutes later open. I do not know if I should go ahead and close the tray or keep waiting for another few years for the tray to close :P

Well after I waited for another few minutes I decided nothing was going to happen. I went and turned it off and turned it back on the it is working just fine, THANK GOD!

That was not happiness :P

If you went from a 1.1 firmware to a 1.2 firmware it does seem to do that.
There are some changes that only get sorted after a power off / on.
As long as you take the disc out, and wait at least 10 mins to make sure that everything as happened, the power off / on will reset everything, and it is ok.

Yeah, I went from Firmware that I had on their from near the beginning, which was late last year. Firmware 1.1 it was. The one to make the annoying zoom go away.

Anyway, yeah, I waited quite awhile for it to close just to make sure nothing was going to happen. It just went to the spiffy new startup splash screen and that was it :P
