This unit looks awesome as a combo player and recorder with MPEG4 playback. Has anyone bought or reviewed this unit for it's MPEG4 playback capabilities?

My father was looking at this at Bing Lee Parramatta for $480.
We would be interested also, if there were any reviews out there.

I bought a new one through e-bay, total cost $312.
Great unit, plays everything I have thrown at it so far, record VHS to DVD, plays MPEG4 etc etc. The only thing is surround sound is by digital out only which is not major problem.
